Although one of our most searched items on our site has been "laundry dryer balls", we didn't supply them for a very long time. That's because we couldn't find an affordable supplier that we trusted; that's until we found Friendsheep.
What Are Dryer Balls?
Dryer balls are the eco friendly alternative to dryer sheets. That's because dryer sheets are made up of plastic fibers, often emit harmful chemicals, and are single-use products.
They naturally soften and fluff laundry, while helping to reduce drying time by 20-40% (depending on load size). When used properly, they can last over 1000 loads, or between 2 and 5 years! And if you want a fragrance, feel free to just add drops of essential oils to them.
What we love about Friendsheep, is that they're carefully handmade by underprivileged and disabled women in Kathmandu, Nepal. All of which are paid very fair wages. Friendsheep also sources their wool from certified cruelty free family farms in New Zealand, and they reinvest their profits into reforestation projects.
